Centred in the middle of the network is the greatest untapped source of intelligence to date, the intelligence from outside the margins.
One annual online gathering
5 of our students we can nominate? And they get the chance to be Global Ambassadors of Equality for the year, and you’ll connect them to University students around the world — 200 in total? And they’ll get trained by AIME in how to mentor and get the chance to activate their peers to mentor local high school students from outside the margins?
SCHOOL AMBASSADORS
200 schools worldwide get the opportunity to be Ambassadors of Equality. 1 Teacher and 1 Students get to be the official ambassadors for the year.
We connect you to your peers around the globe in a WhatsApp group, to have peers that are striving to build schools that work for everyone, a place where you can have that energy when you feel like you are going at it alone, a place to share, to come together, to learn, and a network for you…for life.
We want to connect you to solution based teachers, who are using their imagination during these times of stress and re-design, to make sure that their jobs are still fun and filled with joy.
You get to be trained in how to deliver our tools and knowledge from the last 18 years … and we’ll put you in a proper training ground… kinda like the UN headquarters … do you know the UN?
Just like the UN invites their Ambassadors to their HQ to learn and to build a global network to make the changes that are necessary come to life… AIME has built it’s own HQ for learning and networking in unlikely ways… IMAGI-NATION{University} … you’ll get the chance to be connected in a tutorial group powered by Unlikely Connections by a factor of 5… you’ll be in a tute group with an Executive looking to level the playing field, a Student working on a project for change, a University student leading mentoring and a Citizen working on a project for a fairer world.
Learn how to mentor, how to harness imagination, how to build bridges, how to move economies, how to flip the script, how to organise change … And then as a teacher you get the chance to teach with our mentor class curriculum that we’ve designed over the last 18 years and create a pop up IMAGI-NATION{Factory} to bring the local community into the school to build more unlikely bridges to change the future outcomes of these students, the school, the local community and in turn the world.
As an Ambassador you get to build bridges to other teachers and other students and help them have access to the knowledge and tools we have.
In Australia we have 77 positions for schools working with Indigenous students.
And another 23 for schools working with other students outside the margins.
And then globally there are a further 100 positions for AIME Global Ambassadors of Equality School positions.

We’ve got a chance for 200 schools to be Global Ambassadors of Equality with AIME, got 77 posi’s for schools with Indig kids in Aus to have the stage alongside the other teachers and students are are working with.
It’s a 12 month ambassadorship.
Main call outs are:
1) 1 Teacher and 1 student
2) Both teachers and students get connected to 200 peers globally via a whatsapp group to have that global network of people pushing for the best schools, the best outcomes for all kids.
3) Teachers and Students get to take on projects as part of the 12 months to implement in the school — AIME does all the teaching and training for these via our our Uni
That’s sorta the vibe — thought it could be a good hopeful one for IGS to run at to start 2022?

How much does it cost?
We call it Hoodie Economics — exchanges of time, knowledge and opportunities — kicking $$ either outta the frame of exchange or further down the line… no $ are exchanged, we bring our talents and influence to the table, and multiply it with unlikely connections around the world.
A formal application will open up worldwide but we wanted to come to you first to honour the relations of our past working together, at this stage we’ve pencilled in 10 positions for Australian Uni’s to shine on the global stage. We wanted to invite you to keep activating the vibes from our years of working together, and get to work at scale. Oh yeah and there’s a one page MOU that we’ll work through if you’re successful in your application for your university to be a Global Ambassador of Equality with AIME.
